Exposed brick, leather armchairs and a contemporary dining room set the scene at this welcoming Wimbledon Village pub. The kitchen covers burgers, sandwiches, steak, pies, wings and fish and chips, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. Come Sunday, the focus turns to proper roasts with crisp potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and pub gravy.

The bar serves cocktails, craft beer, wine and spirits, from classic pours to summery spritzes and Espresso Martinis. Fire Stables also hosts tastings and occasional live music, making it a sociable stop for a drink as well as a meal. Dogs and children are welcome, too.
