Beer from the tanks, food from the market

German Kraft brews according to the German Purity Law, using water, malt, hops and yeast. Its beers are unfiltered, unpasteurised and served fresh on site, alongside spirits and other drinks. Food comes from the independent stalls within Mercato Metropolitano, with options including German sausages, jerk chicken, Turkish kebabs, bao buns, Argentinian grill and Neapolitan pizza.

The garden

A big outdoor setting south of the river

The 15,000-square-foot beer garden is planted with bamboo, hop plants and century-old olive trees. It has covered areas, shaded spots and sun traps, with seating for more than 400 people. The garden is part of the wider Mercato Metropolitano food and drink market on Newington Causeway.
