Ignition Brewery’s taproom pours beer brewed on site at The Sydenham Centre, with a small beer garden out back. This social enterprise trains and employs people with learning disabilities, putting every pint towards more paid work.

Fresh beer with a bigger purpose
The taproom serves Ignition’s own beers, including real ale, just metres from the brewery. It is a friendly, community-minded place with regular meet-ups, monthly live music and DJs on selected occasions.
The garden
A little outdoor space behind the brewery
Head out back to find a beer garden with tables for drinking outside. Dogs are welcome, and the garden has become part of the taproom’s relaxed, inclusive character.
