The Nag’s Head sits on James Street, opposite Covent Garden Underground, with a downstairs pub, upstairs dining area and outside seating. McMullen draught beers, cocktails and traditional pub food make room for everything from breakfast to Sunday roast.

A long-standing James Street local
A pub has occupied 10 James Street since at least the 1670s, while the current Neo-Jacobean building dates from 1900. There’s space to settle in downstairs, dine upstairs or book the Sapphire Room for a larger gathering.
The kitchen
Classic plates from morning onwards
Food runs from English breakfast and sandwiches to fish and chips, pies, steaks, burgers and wings, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. Sunday brings a roast, while the kitchen serves through to 10pm most days and until 9pm on Sunday.
