The bar
Cask ales and old Bristol pub character
The bar offers a variety of cask-conditioned ales, including Thatcher’s Traditional, which Nova Scotia says is one of the few remaining pubs to serve on tap. There are also ciders, lagers, spirits and wine, including Thatcher’s Gold, Moretti, London Pride and Courage Best. Upstairs, the function room is used by local community groups and can be hired for events.

The outside seating area looks over Bristol Harbour towards Clifton Suspension Bridge. It is a dog-friendly and child-friendly spot, with outdoor food service and a programme of live music. Food is available at the pub, with recent visitors mentioning a crab salad special.
