A former bank with plenty to look at

The pub occupies the old Law Courts branch of the Bank of England, which operated from 1888 to 1975. High ceilings, large artworks and tables made from original bank vaults give the main space a distinctive sense of place. For private events, there is also a Billiard Room, Parlour Room and vintage Routemaster bus.

The kitchen

Classic pub plates from lunch through Sunday roast

Food includes pies, burgers, steak, fish and chips, wings, sandwiches and chips, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. Sunday roast is also on the menu. The kitchen serves from 11:30am, closing at 9:30pm Monday to Wednesday, 10pm Thursday to Saturday and 8pm Sunday.
