On Kitto Road, Skehans is an independent family-run Irish pub with a pool table, darts, wood-burning stove and live music six days a week. The programme runs from folk sessions and trad music to quizzes, karaoke, jam nights and Saturday gigs.

A leafy outdoor space behind the pub
The garden gives Skehans room for drinks, food and live sport, with outdoor seating and screens for the big games. Inside, the traditional front bar has a pool table and darts, while the stove keeps things cosy in winter.

Chai’s Garden serves Thai food daily from 5–9:30pm, with dishes prepared by Madam Chai. Sundays bring Chico’s roast from 12–4pm, alongside fish and chips, while Tuesdays pair burgers, homemade onion rings and chips with a pint of Staropramen.
