The bar

Local beer, small-batch gin and a full room

The clue is in the name: Tap Tavern focuses on a broad selection of draft beers, including microbrews from local producers. There’s also specialist gin, cocktails and wine, with a retro soundtrack running through the room. Fridays and Saturdays bring Dropkick Jonny’s, the pub-within-a-pub, from 4pm until late.

The kitchen

Classic pub plates and a Sunday roast

The food menu covers familiar pub favourites alongside small plates and sides, with options including fish and chips, burgers, chicken and cauliflower dishes. The menu marks gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and allergen information. On Sundays, roasts start from noon, with tender meats, crisp potatoes, seasonal vegetables and gravy.
