Pub classics, big roasts and breakfast from early

The kitchen serves seasonal British dishes, locally sourced butcher’s cuts and bar snacks, alongside burgers, sandwiches and vegetarian options. Sundays bring Josper roast chicken, aged West Country beef, sharing roasts, crisp roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and plenty of gravy. Breakfast includes a Full English, eggs and avocado toast, served from 7am Monday to Friday and from 8am at weekends.

The bar

Craft beers, cocktails and a proper match-day crowd

The bar offers Young’s beers, guest ales, wines, spirits, seasonal cocktails and no-and-low spritzes. Sports are a major part of the Alma’s appeal, with live sports and an electric atmosphere when the big matches are on. Dogs and children are welcome, and the Old York Room has its own bar for parties, meetings and celebrations.
