The Clement Attlee brings a contemporary feel to Commercial Road, with a serious beer list, classic pub dishes and food shaped by Ecuadorian-born chef Arturo Camacho. Four giant screens show major sporting events, while free live music runs on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

A broad, independent-minded drinks list
There are 21 beers on keg, six cask ales and more than 200 bottled beers, alongside wines and spirits from the UK, Europe and beyond. The selection includes craft ales and distinctive choices such as König Ludwig Weissbier, with quality-led producers at its centre.
The kitchen
Pub classics with a South American edge
The kitchen serves fresh food made to order, combining British favourites with Arturo Camacho’s Ecuadorian influences. Expect dishes including fish and chips, burgers, wings, pies and changing street food, with fish supplied fresh from Billingsgate Market and bread from an East London bakery. Sunday roasts are served until they run out.
