Cask ale is the centrepiece here, with beers from local and national breweries served by gravity. There is also a strong selection of fine cider, wine and spirits, including artisan Wessex gin. Outside seating and dog-friendly access make it easy to settle in for a drink.

The kitchen

Cheese, charcuterie and food from visiting vendors

Food includes traditional fare built around Neal’s Yard Cheeses and Crown and Queue Cured Charcuterie. A street food vendor adds something more substantial alongside the bar snacks and nibbles.
