The list runs from independent UK cask ales to small-batch craft beers from around the world, with real ale and craft ale among the choices. The pub also keeps more than 200 bottles and cans, alongside spirits and cocktails. It’s a useful pre- or post-show stop for the O2 Academy, just around the corner from Brixton Market.

Outdoor seating puts you close to the bustle of Brixton Station Road, while the two-floor pub hosts regular live music. Matt Owens is listed for Thursdays from 9:30pm, with resident DJs on Fridays from 10pm; the venue also runs quizzes, karaoke and sporting occasions including the Six Nations.
