Classic plates, cocktails and a proper weekend buzz

The kitchen serves pub favourites including burgers, pies, wings, fish and chips, steak and sandwiches, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. Sundays bring roast dinners with all the trimmings, while cocktails, wine, spirits and draught beer cover the drinks list. Fridays bring live music and Saturdays bring DJs, with sport also shown here.

The garden

A Balham garden built for long afternoons

The Devonshire’s outdoor space is one of its biggest draws, with an outdoor bar, cabanas and a sun-trap bench. Settle in with a frozen daiquiri, spritz or cold pint, and order from the Burger Shack when hunger arrives. Dogs are welcome too, with treats and toys available for four-legged visitors.
