The Isle of Dogs’ oldest pub, by the Greenwich Foot Tunnel
The Ferry House has welcomed drinkers on Ferry Street since 1722, close to Island Gardens DLR and the northern entrance to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel. Inside, there are cosy spaces for a quiet pint, while the garden offers outdoor seating for dogs and families.

A historic local with a friendly bar
The Ferry House serves draught and bottled beers, cask ales, Guinness, wines and a range of spirits, including premium options. The kitchen is currently closed, but visitors can bring in takeaway food or choose from bar snacks. Two rooms have large screens for live sport, and there is also a function room available for events.

The beer garden sits behind the pub, with outdoor seating for warmer days and space to settle in with a drink. Dogs and children are welcome, making it an easy stop after the Greenwich Foot Tunnel or a walk around Island Gardens.
