The kitchen

From daily lunches to triple-cooked chips

Food runs from fish and chips, homemade pie and Cumberland sausage with mash to burgers, steak, sandwiches and homemade pizzas. Vegetarian choices include a spicy vegan burger, stuffed aubergine and several salads, while children have their own menu. The kitchen also offers daily changing lunch menus, with dinner service on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

A terrace with views towards Epping Forest

The pub’s spacious terrace and outdoor seating make room for alfresco meals and drinks overlooking the forest. Dogs are welcome, and there’s a small car park for stopping by Baldwin’s Hill.
