The Half Moon is a spacious Wetherspoon pub in Bethnal Green, set inside a building that was once a Methodist chapel and later home to the Half Moon Theatre. There are high ceilings, pavement tables, TV screens and a broad choice of food and drinks.

A building with a past
The former chapel at the front dates from 1900 and retains its high octagonal ceiling, bringing plenty of light into the pub. The space later became the Half Moon Theatre before being converted into the pub it is today. Food runs from breakfast and brunch to burgers, pizza, wings and fish and chips, with vegetarian options available.
The bar
Real ale, craft beer and cocktails
The bar offers real ale, craft ales and draught beer alongside wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Outside seating runs along Mile End Road, while inside there are screens for watching sport and a projector and screen for larger events.
