Restored in 2019, the pub has a classic interior with dark wood, wall panelling, stained glass and a cosy snug with a real fire. The open kitchen serves a daily-changing menu built around fresh, seasonal produce, including pub classics and Sunday roasts. Children are welcome, with a child-free section available in one half of the pub.

The garden

Palm trees, outdoor tables and a tiny train

The large landscaped garden is the main event when the weather is on your side, with plenty of outdoor seating and an extra summer bar. A fully functioning miniature railway runs through it, while dogs are welcome and live music features among the pub’s events.
