The bar

A serious choice of beer

Seven hand pumps cover locally sourced and nationwide real ales, with dark, strong and hoppy options among the changing selection. There are also craft beers on keg, real ciders and perries, plus more than 50 bottled and canned beers. Order a third, half or pint, then look to the wine, mead, whisky, gin and rum lists if beer is not your thing.

The garden

Space to linger outside

The pub is larger inside than it first appears, with plenty of tables and a decked garden for outdoor seating. Live music brings another strand to the programme, alongside regular beer festivals and monthly community events. Dogs are allowed, and drivers can use the customer car park.
