White walls, burgundy woodwork, patterned banquettes, a fireplace and pub carpet keep the setting firmly old-school. There’s a dartboard, jukebox, fruit machines and TVs around the room, with live music also part of the offering.

A tiny decked beer garden sits at the rear, while benches outside the front provide a little extra space. The pub is on Blackstock Road, close to Finsbury Park station.
