The bar

A broad draught selection and a changing guest ale

The bar focuses on a large choice of draught beers and lagers, including a guest ale that changes regularly. There are also ciders, wines, soft drinks and non-alcoholic options, with BT Sport, Sky Racing and Racing UK shown here. A dartboard and the bar’s customer-donated duck collection add a little extra character.

Outside

A riverside spot for a drink after the Wandle Trail

The Apprentice is in the historic Apprentice Shop at Merton Abbey Mills, a short walk from Colliers Wood tube station. Outdoor seating makes it a natural stop beside the river and Wandle Trail, while the monthly market brings extra activity to the site. Dogs and families are welcome, and there is a pay-and-display car park with two hours of free parking.
