The 1860s building has vintage woodwork, stained glass and a wood burner for colder visits. The bar serves craft ales, cask and real ale alongside cider, with DJs, live music and a large screen adding to the pub-night mix.

The beer garden gives The Mitre its outdoor pull, with plenty of space for groups, children and well-behaved dogs. Pizza is available to eat in or take away from Wednesday to Sunday, with burgers and classic pub food also on the menu.

Pizza is available Wednesday to Sunday. Children are allowed until 5pm. The pub is open Monday and Tuesday 3–8pm, Wednesday to Friday 3–11pm, Saturday 12–11pm and Sunday 12–8pm.
