Old-school details, modern pub energy
Built in 1850, The North Star has an imposing Finchley Road frontage, embossed stars and a cast-iron Victorian balcony. The single bar has dark wood panelling, decorative woodwork and a dartboard, while DJs add a livelier edge to the traditional setting. Pub classics, burgers and light bites are available, with Sunday roasts also on the menu.
The garden
A beer garden with room to spread out
At the rear, the pub opens into a large, multi-level beer garden — a useful escape from the busy road outside. Dogs are allowed, and outdoor seating makes it easy to settle in with a pint, wine or something from the pub menu.
