The large outdoor area looks over the Bathurst Basin, with suntrap seating, shady spots and an al-fresco bar. In summer, the outdoor kitchen serves pub-classic-inspired street food; outside tables are first come, first served.

Downstairs, the main bar is built around Butcombe beers, cocktails and spirits, while the upstairs Top Deck can host private events, weddings and meetings. Look out for the smugglers’ cave, a slice of Bristol heritage tucked inside the pub.
