A warm room for pub food and pints

The pub’s original Claygate fireplace, maritime relics and historical paintings give the room a country-pub feel. There’s a candlelit restaurant for freshly prepared meals, while the bar serves four real ales, draught lagers, cider and wine. Dogs are welcome in some areas, but not the restaurant section.

The garden

A generous outdoor spot beside the park

The large garden opens for outdoor food and drinks, with tables and benches at the back. It can fill up on busy Sunday afternoons, while indoor tables provide another option. Sunday roasts are served with seasonal produce, and advance booking is essential for the three Sunday food sittings.
