The main room looks onto Church Street through its large bay window, while the more intimate snug is made for settling in beside the log fire. The menu covers burgers, steak, pie, chips and vegetarian options, with a wine list and Sunday roast every week.

The decked roof terrace is a peaceful spot when the weather is kind, with a welcome breeze on warmer days. The pub is also next to St Mary’s Church and opposite Clissold Park, right in the middle of Stoke Newington’s Church Street.
