Fresh produce, changing menus
The kitchen’s menu changes regularly with the seasons, using meat from Rare Breed in Essex, vegetables from Covent Garden and cheese from Neal’s Yard. Expect classic pub plates alongside fish and chips, steak, scotch eggs and desserts, with gluten-free options available.
The events
Quiz nights, jazz and darts
The back room hosts a weekly Monday pub quiz, regular jazz and other live events. When it isn’t in use, the darts board is free to play; the bar also shows sport and serves craft ales, cider, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
