A suntrap behind North Street
The large walled garden is a real feature here, with plenty of room for a pint outside and a canopy with heaters in colder months. Dogs are welcome, and the garden gives the pub an easygoing outdoor side away from the street.

The drinks list covers changing cask ales, local keg beers, West Country ciders, European wines and a well-stocked selection of whisky, rum and gin. Inside, the calendar brings quizzes, music bingo, local DJs and open mic nights, with Tuesday’s long-running quiz starting at 9pm.
