Pub Club finds The Wentworth Arms on Eric Street: a traditional, wet-led Bow boozer focused on drinks, good company and regular events. There is no food service, but the calendar includes live music, bingo, quizzes, karaoke and themed nights.

The bar
A proper local for pints and a bit of noise
The Wentworth Arms keeps things centred on the bar, with draught beers, Guinness and a range of other drinks. It is dog-friendly and has a small garden for a little extra space. The mood shifts with the event: live music, karaoke, quizzes and bingo all feature in the weekly mix.
The history
A Mile End pub with an East End story
Formerly owned by Charrington, the pub sits near the old Anchor Brewery in Stepney. Its history also includes visits from the Kray Twins, who were regulars because of its proximity to the Regal Billiard Hall.
