Historic character and hearty pub food
Thought to date back to the 1600s, this Grade II listed former coaching house keeps its beams, traditional brickwork, bay windows and fireplaces. The menu covers British pub classics including beer-battered fish, scampi and chips, and steak-and-ale pies, with vegetarian and vegan choices available. Live music is also staged during the week.
