This long-standing Victorian corner pub has been refurbished, with historical photographs and mementoes across its two floors. Settle in for pie and mash, fish and chips, a burger, sandwich or Sunday roast, with vegetarian options also available. The upstairs room and bookable spaces make it suitable for gatherings, while sofas offer a more relaxed place to sit.
The bar
Cask ale, cocktails and coffee
The bar brings together well-kept cask ales, real ale, craft beers, fine wines, spirits and cocktails. There are also non-alcoholic drinks, freshly ground coffee and luxury hot chocolate. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, breakfast runs until noon, including a Full English and smashed avocado on toast.
