Just south of London Bridge, this historic riverside quarter draws food lovers and market browsers year-round. Cobbled lanes wind between the Thames and the famous Borough Market, where medieval trading roots meet modern gastronomy. The area fills with office workers at lunch, tourists photographing the Globe Theatre and Southwark Cathedral, and locals meeting for early evening drinks.
