Traditional pub character and a busy local crowd

The pub combines dark wood panelling, carpeted and boarded flooring, partitions and ceiling beams, with raised seating at the front and more space towards the rear. Arched mirrors and a portrait print of Sir Winston Churchill add character. The bar serves familiar keg beers, including Guinness, and the atmosphere is upbeat without losing its neighbourhood feel.

The garden

There is a partially covered patio beer garden behind the main bar, giving drinkers some outdoor space away from the street. Dogs are welcome, and the pub also hosts live music. With sport shown on screen, it works for both a casual pint and a match-day gathering.
