The Roundhouse is a modern neighbourhood pub on the Common, with wooden tables, 1940s framed adverts and a terrace for brighter days. Inside, the menu runs from lamb shoulder pie and steak to burgers, wings and seasonal plates, with cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic drinks at the bar.

Classic pub plates with a seasonal edge
Food runs from mini lamb and mint pie, chicken wings and fish finger tacos to sirloin steak, battered haddock and the Roundhouse beef burger. There is also a plant burger, a veggie board and other vegetarian choices, plus Sunday roasts with all the trimmings. Food is served Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 9.30pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 9pm.

A terrace made for sunny afternoons
The outdoor seating is a strong part of the pub, with space to settle in on warm days and order something from the spritz menu. Dogs are welcome, and TNT Sports is on hand when the afternoon calls for a match and a pint.
