A no-ordinary pub in Clerkenwell

The pub keeps things straightforward: background music, bar stools, a piano and two dart boards played on a first-come, first-served basis. Wednesdays bring chess club from 7pm, while the bar focuses on drinks from small independent and family-owned businesses across Britain and Ireland.

Old China Hand serves ales, lagers, gin, wines and spirits sourced from independent producers, with English and Welsh wines available by the glass. Tasters are offered if you want to compare a few options before settling on your drink. There is no kitchen, but you can order pizzas in.
