A taproom built around lager

Pillars has been brewing in Walthamstow since 2016, with a range that includes Vienna lager, pale lager and the distinctive 8% Icebock. The brewery combines contemporary techniques with traditional brewing principles, including at least four weeks of cold conditioning. It is a relaxed, no-snobbery setting for trying different styles and talking beer.

Beer matched with food

Street food vendors provide the food, with pairings and tastings forming a big part of the experience. Previous brewery sessions have included cheese and other food matches, with vegetarian options available. Tours are conversational and cover both Pillars beers and wider beer styles.
