An old-fashioned local in the heart of London

Built in 1791 and open to the public since 1793, The Barley Mow is described by its owners as the oldest pub in the area. Its original features include two private drinking booths at the bar, while the pub remains one of central London's free houses. Dogs are welcome, and outdoor seating is available.

Pies, wings and monthly roasts

The food leans classic: British steak-and-ale pies, vegetarian and plant-based options, chips, wings, ribs and bar snacks. Sundays bring a monthly roast from 12pm to 4pm, while Monday's Pie & Pint offer runs from 12pm to 3pm and 6pm to 9pm. Live music is scheduled every Saturday, with quizzes and darts also part of the regular programme.
