Rake brings thoughtful food to a proper pub
The current kitchen residency comes from Rake, following Four Legs, Belly Ldn and Tiella. Expect an old-world approach with new-age styling, from oysters and cuttlefish to roast chicken, chips and chocolate pudding. Food is served Wednesday to Sunday.
The garden
A covered courtyard and tucked-away tables
The back garden offers a quieter place to eat, with covered outdoor seating and dogs allowed. Inside, the snug provides another calmer corner, while the front of the pub stays open for drinks and the main buzz.
