Fireplace dining and classic pub plates

The pub has an L-shaped bar, a dining room and a centrepiece fireplace, with traditional seating throughout. Food runs from pub classics and Sunday roasts to burgers, chips, pies, sandwiches and steak, with vegetarian options also available. A coastal seafood shack operates on site, and Thai dishes and wings are among the tagged food options.

The garden

A spacious outdoor setting in Canonbury

At the rear, a large beer garden gives the pub plenty of space for drinks, Sunday lunch and catch-ups outside. Dogs are allowed, and families are welcome, although the garden and pub area are adults-only after 6pm. The venue also hosts parties, weddings and other private events, including in the Spencer Room.
