A banking hall with a serious bar

Marble pillars, ornate details and the stained-glass cupola give the former banking hall plenty to look at while you eat or drink. Three banks of hand pumps surround the island bar, with real ales and guest beers alongside draught lagers, cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic options. Order classic pub plates including burgers, wings, fish and chips, pizza and chips, with vegetarian choices available.

The Crosse Keys opens from 8am on weekdays, making room for breakfast and coffee before the City gets busy. Later, its scale and central location near Monument and Bank suit after-work drinks, while TV screens and a projector show sport. Food and drinks can be ordered to the table through the Wetherspoon app.
