A Victorian setting with room to settle in

Built in 1892, this Grade II listed former Truman’s pub has mansard roofing, Dutch gables and a distinctive green domed roof. Inside, the bar is framed by arched windows, an island servery and a snug with a fireplace and sofas. Upstairs, the spacious lounge is used for poetry and quiz nights.

Food runs from classic pub favourites to seasonal dishes, with Sunday roasts among the reasons to book a table. The bar serves craft ales, wine and spirits, including beers from local London breweries. There is also a kids menu, and street food vendors feature among the pub’s food offering.
