Ten cask ales, changing often
The bar carries around ten cask ales from independent brewers including Siren, Darkstar, Five Points, Oakham, Salopian and Bristol Beer. There are also ten keg lines, real cider and a 14-bin wine list. It is a proper local pub, with a piano and a friendly welcome.
The kitchen
Pies, toasties and classic pub plates
Food includes Pieminister pies, baked camembert, toasties, vegan sausage rolls, Scotch eggs and pickled eggs. The menu also covers British fish and chips and a traditional Sunday roast, with spit-roast chicken available to eat in or take away.
