The original 1830s pub has been restored as an independent local with food, drinks and a welcoming atmosphere. Upstairs, the dining room serves a more extensive menu built around British produce, including meat from Swaledale Butchers and sourdough from St John Bakery.

The menu covers the kind of food that suits the room, from burgers and pies to steaks, wings and Sunday roasts. Fish is prepared on site from day-boat catches supplied through Brixham Market, while the drinks list brings craft ales, wine and cocktails to the table.
