Beef from the grill, pies from the kitchen

Steaks are selected with Godfreys of Finsbury Park and cooked on the open grill, with cuts including fillet, sirloin, rib steak and côte de boeuf. The menu also includes beef, Guinness and oyster pie, lamb cutlets, daily caught fish and vegetarian dishes such as potato and Wensleydale pie. Sunday lunch brings roast beef, pork belly or vegetarian gratin with gravy, Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes.

The bar

Young’s ales, Guinness and a deep wine list

The bar pours Young’s ales and Guinness, while the cellar holds more than 350 wine labels selected with sommelier Vladimir. Cocktails are served at tables, and the pub is walk-ins only for drinks. Three private dining rooms upstairs cater for groups of up to 20.
