A long-standing Holborn pub with plenty going on

Classical columns divide the bar, while wooden furnishings and Hercules statues give the room its character. The menu runs from fish and chips, pies and sausages with mash to burgers, steak and stonebaked pizza, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. There is also a downstairs restaurant area and a function room for groups of up to 100.

The Hercules Pillars is a Cask Marque bar, serving real ales alongside wines, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Four HD screens and a projector show football, rugby, cricket, darts and Formula 1, making it a dependable Great Queen Street spot for watching live sport. Weekday happy hour runs from 4pm to 7pm, with £5 cocktails.
